You will visit Sequoia National Park and enjoy the Giant Forest, home to General Sherman (the largest tree known on earth!) and 4 other trees that make the top 10 tallest trees list.

Just being in the presence of other authentic women was the best therapy I have gotten in a long time. You can really tap into yourself and other women's wisdom in this setting.  I got way more than I expected or paid for this weekend. Truly life changing!

November 2019

This Sequoia National Park is located on the western side of the Sierra Mountains.  The western side is cooler and wetter, which allows for the wonderful August temperatures in Sequoia National Park to be in the low 70's (and cooler in the forest) during the day and in the mid 40's at night.

Sequoia National Park
Sequoias

Sequoia National Park became a National Park in 1890 and encompasses over 400,000 acres.  The forested mountains on the west side are an amazing spectacle.

The old growth area of the sequoias is shared with Kings National Forest and covers over 200,000 acres.

On this retreat you will have two days among the old growth sequoias, meadows, and hikes with trees bigger than your imagination

It is easy to feel run-down when on a trip, but Valerie has a great skill at coordinating retreats! It was the perfect balance of free time and scheduled activities - well organized and perfectly scheduled.

You should advertise how incredibly comfortable the cots are. I was shocked that I got the best sleep I have gotten in a long time, and I have super expensive bed.  Maybe, I will replace it with one of your cots!
